About the Festival: This festival provides a space for all filmmakers who possess innovative ideas and have dedicated the time required for their realization. Our philosophy is rooted in the conviction that creating a coherent and compelling work does not necessitate large capital investment; what matters most is a worthwhile and uniquely original idea. The festival selects works every six months for screening at our Annual Event in Cannes.
Awards: Selected authors are invited to join our filmmaking community for future collaborations / The first-place winner receives the opportunity to join the festival’s jury, become an integral part of the CIIFF core executive team, and participate in the production of the festival’s feature film with subsequent distribution in cinemas.
Accepted Genres: Experimental Film, Short Film, Feature Film, Music Video, Short Documentary (under 25 minutes).
Runtime: Under 40 minutes (for short films).
Production Year: Post-2019
Language & Subtitles: Non-English films must be accompanied by English subtitles.
Submission Deadline: October 25, 2026 (Half-year Edition)
Entry Fee: Non-refundable.
Additional Information: Films must be submitted to the appropriate category; failure to do so will result in disqualification / By submitting to CIIFF, you grant permission for live screening of your film if selected as a winner in the half-year edition / The festival reserves the right to utilize trailers, teasers, posters, and film stills for promotional purposes.
