10 Films from the Independent Short Film Support Base Make It Into the Sahar Manchester Festival

Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Base to the International Sahar Festival in Manchester, England, 10 short films from the base have made it into the competition section of the second edition of this festival.
The films are as follows:
Zemestan Ast (It Is Winter) / Sepideh Mirhosseini ;Suite, Zendegi be Shart-e Zistan (Suite, Life on the Condition of Living) / Mahour Majlesi ;Seh Rooz Ba’d-e Nagasaki (Three Days After Nagasaki) / Hamed Aslani ;Sarab (Mirage) / Javad Pourheidari ;Ganjineh (Treasure) / Hossein Rabiei ;Mehrabad-e Jonoubi (South Mehrabad) / Amin Ashrafi ;Cafe, Khiaban, Piadero (Café, Street, Sidewalk) / Meysam Hasanzadeh
These works, distributed and presented by the Independent Short Film Support Base, are taking part in this festival under the Contemporary Iranian Cinema section.
Additionally, the films “Haft Salam” and “Gisuye Ashufteh Zamin” (Earth’s Disheveled Tress), both directed by Mehdi Yarmohammadi, are participating in the festival’s Nowruz section and Contemporary Iranian Cinema section, respectively.
It is worth noting that the second edition of the International Sahar Festival is held in Manchester, England, with the aim of introducing contemporary Iranian cinema and the Iranian Nowruz tradition, as well as discovering and showcasing independent films and creative filmmakers and bringing them to the attention of the wider film industry.
