Three Awards for the Independent Short Film Support Platform at INSIGHT HALF Festival

Three films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform were awarded at the 7th INSIGHT HALF International Festival in India.
Out of eight films selected for the main competition section, three productions from the platform received festival honors. Each of these films was awarded a certificate of appreciation along with a cash prize.
The awarded films are:
– Raising the Sail directed by Sharmin Mojtahedzadeh– Two Words directed by Mohammadreza Famili– Dook directed by Meysam Zardeshtian
The INSIGHT HALF International Festival in India showcases amateur haiku-style ultra-short films (under five minutes) from around the world.
It is also worth noting that over the past three years, 14 films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform have been the only Iranian representatives at this festival, collectively winning two awards and three honorary diplomas.
The 7th edition of the INSIGHT HALF International Festival was held on August 12–13, 2017, at the Tarakad Fine Arts Hall in Palakkad, Kerala, India.
