9 Iranian films at “Religion Today”

Nine Iranian films are participating in the 15th International Religion Today Film Festival in Italy.
This festival, which is dedicated to screening films with religious themes, will host nine Iranian feature films, short films, animations, and documentaries in this edition.
The Beloved Sky (Dariush Mehrjui), A Simple Reception (Mani Haghighi), The Have-Nots (Mohammadreza Arab), Qarqa (Zeynab Ghorbani Faryad), The Daughters of Aqa Seyyed (one of the works from the Independent Short Film Support Base, directed by Fatemeh Heydari), Ali, Lion of God (Mohammadjafar Baghernia), Mr. Esmail (Mehdi Zamanpour Kiasari), The Secret of the Gaze (Hamed Saadat), and The Moment of Silence of the Shadows (Osman Mohammadi) are representing Iran at the festival.
Alongside the festival, a filmmaking workshop is held every year with the participation of around 60 guests, including the filmmakers present at the festival, actors, and other members of the film industry.
The 15th International Religion Today Film Festival will be held in Italy from October 12 to 24.
