After the participation of 23 films from the Independent Short Film Support Base among the 60 films selected for the first Bahman Short and Documentary Film Festival, four festival awards were given to films from this base.
In the Best Short Film category:
The Diploma of Honor was awarded to “Escape”, directed by Mehdi Bagheri Azad.
In the Best Editing category:
The Festival Trophy and cash prize were awarded to “A Few Minutes of Morning”, edited by Sepehr Vakili.
In the Best Screenplay category:
The Diploma of Honor was awarded to “Boxes” by Ehsan Jafari.
In the Jury Special Award category:
Zhila Sohrabi was honored for her performance in the film “Boxes.”
The first Bahman Short and Documentary Film Festival was held from September 14 to 17, with the cooperation of the Independent Short Film Support Base, at the Bahman Cultural Center.
