Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Platform to the 17th edition of Italy’s RELIGION TODAY Film Festival, two films from the platform were selected for the competitive sections of the festival.
The short fiction film “And Now, Man” directed by Iraj Mohammadi Rezini will compete in the festival’s Panorama Competition section, while the short fiction film “Whispers of the Geranium” directed by Hamidreza Mazraeh Khatiri will compete in the festival’s Peace and Human Rights Competition section.
The 17th edition of Italy’s RELIGION TODAY Film Festival is being held under the theme “Transformation! Religions and Society.”
The films participating in this festival focus on the following subjects: the various dimensions of religion in contemporary life, interreligious and international relations, manifestations of religious beliefs, religious ethnography, and anthropology.
The 17th edition of the RELIGION TODAY Film Festival will be held in Italy from October 10 to October 21, 2014.
