About the Festival:The festival focuses on discovering and sharing cinematic works, as well as educating audiences to sharpen their critical perspective and thinking. Through workshops on image and video analysis, meetings with industry professionals, and participation in national and regional programs, the festival strives to introduce audiences to the various facets of cinema and what lies behind the image.

Language and Subtitles:Foreign film preview files must include at least English subtitles. If the DCP version does not yet feature French subtitles, it must be submitted alongside a QuickTime ProRes file and a dialogue timecode list in either French or English.

Additional Notes:The “Junior” section is one of the festival’s key pillars, created to introduce the diversity of world cinema to children and teenagers. This section accepts high-quality works of all genres, lengths, and origins. It aims to foster imagination, nurture curiosity, introduce the diversity of cinema—from classic to contemporary—and strengthen critical thinking when engaging with images.
Films must be suitable for young audiences and are reviewed in two age groups:
- Junior +4: Suitable for children from approximately 3-4 years old and up.
- Junior 7/8+: Suitable for children from approximately 7-8 years old and up.
