A Film from the Independent Short Film Support Base at the FIKE Festival

Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Base to the 11th edition of the FIKE International Short Film Festival, the animation “The Scale”, directed by Ramin Rahbar, was selected to compete in the competition section of this festival.
The animation “The Scale” tells the story of human life, from the beginning and its return once again to the beginning. This film has previously won the Best Short Film Under 3 Minutes Award at the Hamburg Short Film Festival and has so far participated in numerous domestic and international festivals.
At this international event, there are two representatives from Iran: the animation “The Scale” by Ramin Rahbar and the short film “More Than Two Hours” by Ali Asgari.
The FIKE Festival Trophy will be awarded to the Best Narrative Short Film, Best Documentary, and Best Animation. The festival’s Diploma of Honor will be presented to the Best Screenplay, Best Cinematographer, Best Actor, Best European Short Film, Audience Choice, and Best Portuguese Film.
In this edition, a section dedicated to Indian cinema has been included to mark the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema.
The 11th FIKE International Short Film Festival will be held in Portugal from October 17 to 28.
