Among the six films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform that made it to the INSIGHT HALF International Film Festival in India, two films from the platform received special recognition.
These films are:
– Must Be Black, a short film directed by Baran Sarmad
– A Line Across the Distance, a short film directed by Hengameh Mahdi
The fifth edition of India’s INSIGHT HALF International Film Festival is dedicated to very short amateur films (under five minutes) from around the world.
It is worth mentioning that in 2014 as well, among the 52 films selected for this festival, six films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform were the only representatives from Iran at the festival, and they succeeded in winning two awards.
