“Pi Khabi Shayad…” and “Monaqeseh-ye Ashya dar Miyan-e Ashbah” at INSIGHT HALF

Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Base to the sixth edition of the INSIGHT HALF International Festival in India, two films from the base have made it into the main competition section of this festival.
The two films, both distributed by the Independent Short Film Support Base, are:
— The short film “Pi Khabi Shayad…” (Perhaps Sleepwalking…), directed by Fariba Abazari — The short film “Monaqeseh-ye Ashya dar Miyan-e Ashbah” (Auction of Objects Among Ghosts), directed by Hadi Jaldi
These films, which are the only Iranian representatives at this festival, will compete among 84 films in the main competition section alongside works from India, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Spain, and others.
The INSIGHT HALF International Festival in India welcomes very short amateur films (under 5 minutes) from around the world.
It is worth noting that in 2014 and 2015 as well, 12 films from the Independent Short Film Support Base were the sole Iranian representatives at this festival, and went on to receive 2 awards and 2 honorary diplomas.
The sixth edition of the INSIGHT HALF International Festival will be held on August 13 and 14, 2016, in Palakkad, in the Kerala region of India.
