Invitation for “Leafless Garden” to Screen in Thailand

The 19th edition of the Thailand International Short Film and Video Festival has invited the short narrative film “Leafless Garden”, directed by Ghazaleh Soltani, to participate in the festival’s International Competition Section in 2015.
The film, which is distributed internationally by the Independent Short Film Support Center, tells the story of a family navigating the hustle and bustle of present-day Tehran in pursuit of their dreams.
To date, the film has screened at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France, the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival, the main competition section of the WIZ-ART International Film Festival in Ukraine, the Best Short Films of the World competition section of the JAGRAN International Film Festival in India, and the main competition section of the CONCORTO International Film Festival in Italy. It also won the Students’ Choice Award at the 37th edition of the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France.
The 19th Thailand International Short Film and Video Festival will be held from August 13 to August 23, 2015, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).
