Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center to the INSIGHT HALF International Film Festival in India, six films from the Center have been selected for the festival’s main competition section.
The selected films, all distributed internationally by the Independent Short Film Support Center, are:
– “Life Is Not on Vacation” directed by Shahrzad Rastani
– “It Must Be Black” directed by Baran Sarmad
– “Politics” directed by Seyed Ali Sajjadi
– “Aftershock” directed by Mahmoud Yazdani Bahramabadi
– “A Line Across the Distance” directed by Hengameh Mahdi
– “Return” directed by Ramtin Serajpour
The fifth edition of the INSIGHT HALF International Film Festival in India welcomes ultra-short amateur films (under five minutes in length) from around the world.
It is worth noting that in 2014, six films from the Independent Short Film Support Center were selected among the 52 films accepted by the festival, making them the only Iranian representatives at the event. Those films went on to win two awards at the festival.
