Six Films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform at the Parvin Festival

Among the 85 fiction films selected for the competition section of the 8th Parvin Etesami Festival, six films from the Independent Short Film Support Platform are participating.
These films are:
In the “Women’s Role in the Foundation of the Family” section:

In the “Golden Water Lily” section (Female Filmmakers – Open Theme):
A Good Day / Sousan Salamat
After the Party / Saba Ghasemi
The Leafless Garden / Ghazaleh Soltani
No Comment / Parvin Marahami
In the “Golden Water Lily” section (Male Filmmakers – Women-Centered Theme):
She / Hamed Aslani
It is worth noting that in this edition, 580 fiction films were submitted to the festival by artists and filmmakers working in the field. The submissions were reviewed and evaluated by the selection committee, chaired by Mohammadreza Aslani, and 85 fiction films were ultimately chosen for the festival’s competitive section.
According to the report, 78 fiction films were selected for the Golden Water Lily Competition section, including 41 films by female filmmakers with open themes and 37 films by male filmmakers focusing on women’s issues.
In addition, 7 fiction films were selected for the competition section titled “Women’s Role in the Foundation of the Family.”
