Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center to the AVANCA Film Festival in Portugal, the animated short film “Why Flies Shouldn’t Be Killed!”, directed by Farhad Alizadeh, has been selected for the festival’s main competition section.
The aim of the festival is to provide a global perspective on cinema, television, video, and multimedia arts.
The festival accepts narrative and animated short films, television documentaries, and experimental films produced in 2012 or later, provided that they have not previously been made available online and have not been distributed in Portugal.
The 18th edition of the AVANCA Film Festival will take place from July 23 to 27, 2014, in Avanca, Portugal.
