“Paboos” in the Non-Competitive Section of FRESCO

Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center to the FRESCO Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual & Moral Films in Armenia, the short narrative film “Paboos”, directed by Mehdi Yarmohammadi, was selected for the festival’s Non-Competitive Section.
This festival is a new and distinctive event that differs from conventional film festivals. Its aim is not only to showcase spiritual and humanistic films from around the world, but also to encourage healthy and open public discussions about the challenges facing societies worldwide.
The festival’s main objectives are:
To help restore the values of love, solidarity, and humanity through religious and cultural dialogue.
To promote spiritual values.
To encourage the creation and dissemination of ethical and spiritual films and increase public demand for them as an important social and cultural force.
To strengthen communication, cooperation, and the exchange of professional experience among filmmakers.
Festival Sections:
Competitive Section
Includes all types of films produced after January 2011.
Non-Competitive Section
Includes various film screenings, exhibitions, masterclasses, meetings, discussions, and related events.

Best Humanitarian Film
Best “Message”
Best Analysis of a Social Issue
Love and Peace Award
“Hero of Our Time” Award for the embodiment of a contemporary role model
Best First Feature Film
All participants will receive a Festival Participation Diploma.
Festival Eligibility Rules:
The festival accepts films (fiction, animation, feature-length, and short films) that condemn war, environmental disasters, national or religious violence, and all forms of discrimination, while promoting peace, tolerance, humanism, kindness, and patriotism.
Films should reflect real family issues, contribute to the restoration of family values, promote the spiritual and moral education of young people, encourage healthy lifestyles, and present a positive worldview.
