Shahrzad Asfarjani, a director of advertising and marketing communications, brand planner and strategist, communications and advertising instructor, business consultant to the Independent Short Film Support Base, and one of the founders of the Independent Filmmakers Support Fund, donated a gift to this fund.
The text accompanying the donation of this gift to the fund reads:
Dear Mr. Yarmohammadi
Director of the Independent Short Film Festival
Since the continuation of effective cultural activities has always required economic support in order to be born and flourish, I too, for my part, would like to contribute by presenting a gift to this group.
This work is a charcoal drawing by my father, Master Asfarjani, which he created during his studies at the School of Fine Arts in the class of Master Tajvidi. This means it dates back to the years between 1934 and 1937. (The rest of his works have been donated to the Negarestan Museum of the University of Tehran.)
I hope this small gift will create value at the unveiling ceremony of the treasures donated by artists and prominent figures, helping to facilitate artistic projects and the production of independent short films.
