Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Base to the Flying Broom Women’s Festival in Turkey, the films “Knot” and “Early Tomorrow Morning”, directed by Azam Najafian, were selected to compete in the competition section of this festival.
This festival is held with the aim of supporting women directors, cinematographers, and musicians and introducing them to one another. Short films produced in 2013 and 2014 that were made by women or have a woman among the film’s directors are eligible to participate in this festival.
The 17th edition of this festival will be held from May 8 to 15, 2014 in Ankara, Turkey.
