The 43rd Tampere International Short Film Festival in Finland considered the narrative short film “The Pomegranate Is the Fruit of Paradise”, directed by Timur Qaderi, worthy of receiving the festival’s Diploma of Honor.
“The Pomegranate Is the Fruit of Paradise” is one of the films supported by the Independent Short Film Support Base and represented Iran in the competition section of this festival.
This festival, which accepts short films under 30 minutes that were produced after January 2011, awarded the winners the festival’s trophy and cash prize in three categories, in addition to the Grand Prize.
The 43rd Tampere International Short Film Festival was held in Finland from March 6 to 10, 2013.
