Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center to the 3rd International IBAFF Film Festival in Spain, the short narrative film *When You Get Lost*, directed by Qasem Ansari, received the Honorary Diploma for Best Short Film at the festival.
The film tells the story of a teenage boy who, at his father’s insistence, is forced to search for their missing buffalo along the Bahmanshir River.
The 3rd IBAFF Film Festival, held under the theme of Travel and Creativity, took place in Spain from March 5 to March 10, 2012.
Prior to this achievement, the film had won Second Place in the Narrative Film Category at the First Independent Short Film Support Celebration and had also been screened in the competition sections of the Uppsala International Short Film Festival in Sweden and the Message to Humanity Film Festival in Russia.
The Independent Short Film Support Center supports outstanding independently produced short and documentary films across the country as part of its mission to encourage and promote independent filmmakers.
