Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center to the 14th Religion Today International Film Festival, two short films—Seven Salutations, directed by Mehdi Yarmohammadi, and Empty-Handed, Full-Hearted, directed by Babak Nabizadeh—have been selected for the competition section of the festival.
The 14th edition of the Religion Today International Film Festival will be held from October 14 to 26, 2011, in the Italian cities of Trento, Rome, Milan, Bolzano, and Nomi.
Relations between different religions, religious and indigenous themes, and this year’s central topic—Poverty: Problem or Opportunity?—are the main subjects explored by the films selected for the festival.
