Officially selected films are promoted across major global platforms, including potential showcases linked to festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, New York, London, and Venice. Unlike many traditional festivals, IPIFF announces its “Top 10” films every three months, ensuring filmmakers receive recognition without the need to wait for a year-long cycle.

Production Year: Feature films must have been produced or released between April 1, 2015, and January 15, 2026.
Language & Subtitles: Films not in English or Hindi must include English subtitles to be eligible for screening.

Additional Terms & Conditions:
- The festival communicates exclusively with the person who submitted the film or the producer. Any attempt by other crew members (directors, writers, actors, etc.) to contact the festival to inquire about selection status may result in immediate disqualification of the film and potential banning of the production house from future editions.
- For feature films, only a 5-minute “Showreel” will be screened. Following this, a 20-minute one-on-one interactive session/podcast with the filmmaker will be conducted to discuss the concept and vision of the work; this session will be digitally promoted to enhance the film’s exposure.
- The festival does not ship physical trophies via courier. The Director/Producer must be present at the Award Ceremony to collect the award. In the event of non-attendance, only an E-certificate will be provided.
- Official award winners are eligible to be published on the festival’s IMDb Event page.
- In the Public Choice category, selected films will be streamed on a relevant platform for up to 30 days to gather audience feedback.
