About the Festival:
Marignana Arte Gallery and Kosmos Contemporary Venice APS association invite artists of all ages and nationalities to submit their applications for the second edition of the Berlendis Venice Art Prize. Held under the title “Have We Crossed the Threshold? A Journey Beyond Borders, Identities, and Languages,” the prize explores the concept of “crossing” as a physical, cultural, political, internal, and symbolic experience.
Themes and Focus Areas: An experience that can encompass physical, cultural, political, internal, and symbolic dimensions.
Awards: 2 cash prizes / 5 special prizes including holding an exhibition / publication of a dedicated book or catalog (specifically for selected artists)
Duration of Works: Works between 1 to 15 minutes
Entry Fee:
- For applicants in the Emerging Artists category: €25 registration fee
- For applicants in the Contemporary Artists category: €35 registration fee
Application Deadline: September 24, 2026
Other Details: This call is open to artists of all nationalities.
- Emerging Artists Category: Dedicated to artists aged 18 to 30; applicants must not have reached the age of 31 by the submission deadline.
- Contemporary Artists Category: Dedicated to artists over the age of 30.
