16 Iranian Films at the Third Edition of the International Sahar Film Festival in Manchester

Among the films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Base to the third edition of the International Sahar Festival in Manchester, England, 16 Iranian films will be screened at this festival.
The names of these 16 films, all distributed and presented by the Independent Short Film Support Base, are as follows:

Mandana Ansari, director of the Sahar Festival, said about the event: the third edition of the International Sahar Festival, with the aim of discovering independent films and creative filmmakers and introducing them to the film industry, will be held on June 24, 2017, in Manchester, England.
Mandana Ansari also elaborated on how the Iranian films will be screened at the festival, adding: on June 24th, three Iranian films — “Siah” directed by Hamideh Moeinifar, “Dast-ha va Shandeh-ha” directed by Ali Asghar Ahmadi Moqaddam, and “E’tesab” directed by Ardavan Tarakameh — will be screened. The other announced Iranian films, provided they submit the required additional materials to the festival no later than the 15th of Khordad of the current year, will be included in the festival’s next screening lineup, the date of which will be announced in due course.
It is worth noting that Mehdi Yarmohammadi — filmmaker, film distributor, and director of the Independent Short Film Support Base, who also served as a jury member for the Iranian Cinema section at the previous edition of this festival — has been invited to the third edition of the festival to deliver a speech on “The Future of Cinema.”
