About the Festival:The goal of this festival is to raise awareness regarding external filters on the screen as well as internal filters in the perception and reception of images, including self-censorship. “Nefiltravanae Kino” explores the aestheticization and commodification of art and strives to showcase the complexity, multifaceted nature, and diversity of filmmaking.
Awards:The festival moves away from a purely “best of the best” approach, although it does not completely ignore it. Selected works are accepted in narrative, animation, documentary, experimental, and virtual reality sections, and the jury awards the best film in each section. Screenings take place in cinemas, the National Center for Contemporary Arts, and art spaces.
