About the Residency: This residency has been designed as a research residency program for art critics who live and work outside France. The program aims to support research in the field of art criticism and facilitate the international mobility and professional activities of critics.
Participants will have access to the research facilities and working environment of Cité internationale des arts, the French National Institute of Art History (INHA), and the AICA archives at the Archives de la Critique d’Art in Rennes.
The program also offers an opportunity to connect with France’s artistic community, critics, and curators. These connections can contribute to the development and enrichment of the selected participants’ research projects.

Additional Information: Applicants must have at least five years of professional experience in art criticism and must be active AICA members at the time of application. They must also reside outside metropolitan France. Group applications will not be accepted. Only individual applications will be considered.
