About the Call:This call invites photographers and video artists from the Middle East, North Africa, and the diasporic communities of the region to share their perspectives and narratives. It aims to celebrate image-making as a platform for expression, resilience, and cultural dialogue, while providing artists with an opportunity to gain international exposure for their work.
Awards:A $8,000 grant, to be divided among three selected artists; presentation of the artists’ work at the festival; the possibility of publication in Condé Nast’s regional publications; and participation in online portfolio review sessions.
Accepted Genres:Experimental works and photography, video, and multimedia projects across all genres, including fashion, documentary, portraiture, and fine art.
Work Duration/Format:A series consisting of up to 15 images, a combination of images and video as part of a multimedia project, or a 60-second video teaser.
Submission Deadline:September 24, 2026
Additional Information:Works created using artificial intelligence will not be accepted. This call is open to photographers and video artists aged 18 and above from the Middle East and North Africa, as well as members of the region’s diasporic communities who continue to maintain a meaningful connection with the region.
