About the Festival:
A Category “A” festival according to the classification system of the French National Center for Cinema (CNC). Through its short film competition, the festival introduces and supports the younger generation of filmmakers and the creation of music for image. Every year, nearly 70 short films are selected to participate in this competition, vying for a range of awards. The festival’s most prestigious award is dedicated to the best original music composed for a film.

Other Details: Must be the director’s first, second, or third film. The soundtrack must include one or both of the following:
- Original Music: Composed and scored specifically for the film.
- Sound Design: Creative processing and design of the film’s sonic elements-including sound effects, voices, dialogue or narration, silence, and other audio components-in a way that establishes a unique auditory identity and atmosphere for the work.
- Important Note: Each film can only be submitted and competed in one competition section.
