The Best Film with a Message of Hope Award at Armenia’s FRESCO International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual-Moral Films was awarded to “Aftershock”, a film represented by the Independent Short Film Support Center of Iran.
Among the three films submitted by the Independent Short Film Support Center that were selected for the main competition section of the FRESCO International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual-Moral Films, the short narrative film “Aftershock”, directed by Mahmoud Yazdani Bahramabadi, succeeded in winning the festival’s Best Film with a Message of Hope Award.
The FRESCO International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual-Moral Films is held with the aim of preserving and promoting love, solidarity, tolerance, and human values through ethical and cultural dialogue. The festival also seeks to encourage the development of spiritual and moral cinema and to increase public interest in such films as an important social and cultural force.
The festival took place in Yerevan, Armenia, from June 26 to July 6, 2015.
