About the Festival:Founded by René Rozon, this festival is dedicated to the international promotion and distribution of films and media works about art. For over four decades, the festival has been held annually in March, presenting the latest art documentaries and a wide spectrum of art-related works. FIFA is a non-profit organization, and since its inception in 1981, it has showcased thousands of films from over 80 countries. It features an international competition and is recognized as the world’s largest festival dedicated to art films.

Runtime:Short film (40 minutes or less), Feature film (over 40 minutes).

Language and Subtitles:The work must feature one of these 8 versions: French, English, French dub, English dub, French subtitles, English subtitles, no dialogue, or no sound. Bilingual works are preferred.

Additional Notes:Films or videos that, prior to March 29, 2027, have been publicly screened or distributed-in Montreal cinemas, at another festival in Montreal, on television, online, or via any free or paid platform accessible to Montreal audiences-are not eligible.
