The short animation “Why Shouldn’t We Kill the Fly!”, directed by Farhad Alizadeh and one of the films from the Independent Short Film Support Base, will be featured in the student section of the Athens Animation Festival.
This festival brings together and puts into competition short animations, student animations, and works by graduates.
The seven Iranian animations participating in the 9th Athens International Animation Festival are as follows:
Short Competition Section:
“Dad’s Chinese Doll” — directed by Ali Zare Ghanatnavie
“The Captive” — directed by Nasrin Shahmohammadi
“Only as Much as a Step” — directed by Zahra Javadi
Student Section:
“The Game Is Over” — directed by Seyed Mohsen Pourmohseni Shakib
“The Day and Night House” — directed by Mohammad Javad Khajavi
“Nothing But White Has Color” — directed by Ahmad Langroudi
