According to the festival secretariat, the jury members of the second edition of the National Short Film Festival of Production, Supporting Iranian Labor and Capital have been introduced.
This jury, consisting of Fatemeh Goudarzi, Abdolreza Akbari, Mehdi Yarmohammadi, Mehdi Haghighi, and Hossein Nazari, will select and introduce the winning films and filmmakers of this festival from among the 86 works that have reached this edition.
Fatemeh Goudarzi:
– Film and television actress / short film director
– Winner of the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress at the 14th Fajr Film Festival
– Winner of the Golden Dolphin for Best Actress at the Kish Film Festival
– Recipient of the Hafez Award trophy for Best Actress
– Recipient of the Stone Lion trophy for Best Actress
– Recipient of the Golden Palm trophy for Best Actress
– Jury member of television film festivals and short film and documentary festivals
Abdolreza Akbari:
– Theater, television, and cinema actor / television writer and director
– Public relations specialist
– Theater graduate, acting instructor, and managing director of Sepidar Film Acting School
– Winner of several major domestic acting awards
– Jury member of short film and documentary festivals, including Parvaneh-ye Isar Festival and the House of Cinema Festival, etc.
Mehdi Yarmohammadi:
– Filmmaker / film commercial consultant
– Member of the Documentary Filmmakers Association of House of Cinema
– Director and founder of the Independent Short Film Support Base
– Director and founder of the Khorshid Independent Short Film Festival
– Winner of numerous domestic and international awards in the field of short films and documentaries
– Media director of Parkas Association
– Member of the selection and judging committees of festivals including Khorshid, Bahman, Resistance in the Frame of Freedom, and others
Mehdi Haghighi:
– Filmmaker / researcher
– Bachelor’s degree in film directing from the University of Radio and Television
– Master’s degree in cultural management
– Former director general of audiovisual affairs and director general of cinema education at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance
– Secretary of the Prayer Film Festival
– Director of provincial affairs for the Fajr Festivals
– Member of the selection and judging committees of festivals including Varesh, Prayer, National Will Manifestation (Fajr), and others
Hossein Nazari:
– Psychology specialist
– Managing director of Nila Farhang Cultural and Artistic Institute
– Supervisor of cinema associations and organizations
– Designer, secretary, and member of the selection committee of the National Bread Short Film Festival
– Member of the policy-making council of the Khorshid Independent Short Film Festival
– Technical advisor of the National Production Short Film Festival, Supporting Iranian Labor and Capital
– Public relations director of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Markazi Province
– Head of the secretariat of the first Public Relations Festival of Markazi Province
The second edition of the National Short Film Festival of Production, Supporting Iranian Labor and Capital will be held from March 11 to 14 of the current year in Isfahan, and the winners will be announced and honored during the festival’s closing ceremony.
